「thecoding」is Now a NEAR Validator | Learn How to Delegate
「thecoding」is running a NEAR validator node at thecoding.pool.near, first as a Chunk endorser, and is taking delegations.
「thecoding」went one step further in its journey to decode open-source, crypto, blockchain, AI, DeFi, privacy, Rust, and related content, now running an active NEAR validator node. Going from being just a related publication to an active participant in NEAR’s decentralization and security.

The node is currently powered by Meta Pool’s Node Studio, part of its Cohort 2 that helps onboard and bootstrap new validators to the NEAR network through infrastructure, mentorship, and stake delegation.

As of October 15, thecoding.pool.near is a chunk validator, producing endorsements. These validators focus solely on validating and endorsing chunks (subdivisions of shard blocks), without tracking full shards or producing blocks.

Current APY: ~8.50%NEAR rewards and accrued fees will be used to (in this order):
pay for infrastructure costs,
subsidize thecoding-related activities.

How to Delegate to 「thecoding」’s NEAR Validator
To delegate, you will first need a NEAR wallet and some NEAR tokens (Ⓝ). There are a few wallet suggestions on our Near Protocol Overview. Meteor, Intear, NEARMobile, HOT, and near-cli-rs are the most popular ones.
Then, you need to look for the “Staking” function of your chosen app and search for our validator address below:
